Hello there! got my medicals extended today, status changed from "you do not need a medical exam" to "August 26th you passed your medical exam" i guess PPR is close :) good luck to everyone stuck in SS :)

True, i called IRCC today, agent confirmed that the change in Medical status is automatic in the system upon the date of expiry, and they dont know yet if an extension or a request for new medical will take place or when ! so still waiting

i suggest calling, they give more info on phone than in emails

Thats what i was wondering! if its automatic or an agent is actually working on my case cz its been silence for months (since february)

My Medicals status changed from you passed your medical exam to: you do not need a medical exam on the day my medicals actually expired. is this a change that occurs automatically in the system when ones medicals expire? or is it an indication that something is moving forward?

IRCC agents dont know how long it takes for security screening to complete! SS is performed by other agencies

not trying to make u feel down but my security screening has been goin on for 5 months. everything else cleared though

Same here! i think im in security screening. patience it will come, try calling IRCC agents give more details than webform.

just talked to an agent, he said applications r talking up t 11 months to process. and my deadline has been moved from july to october :(

Happened to me as well. first agent mentioned expected completion date july 14th, second agent said there's no such date ! third agent confirmed that there was a note to give decision on july 14 th , its confusing i think not all agents take the effort to look at ur file in detail

My last ADR was Feb 19. security screening started after that I'm guessing cz it was for a PCC

Call IRCC and ask agent to email officer with note to speed up ur processing, last time i called agent did that for me, but no update yet just been two days though.

hishamx87, I called many times since my 6 month processing time has passed, my AOR is Sep 23rd. Today an agent finally said she will send an email to the officer to update my file ! i guess if u keep calling things might move forward !
