P.Eng APEGA (Professional Engineers of Alberta) review timeline

uhm I don't know about that. I have a few friends who took the other FE exam, and they told me that it is really difficult. Actually, I asked the same question to APEGA, and I was told that it is not mandatory but it is better if the PEng is from the same field (specially for Competency...

Hi, My case is June 2024 too and nothing here yet. For the FE exam, I used the NCEES practice Test and FE electrical and computer review manual. Canadian 10years, foreign 5 years. Apega didn't provide a reason. I just took the exam as it would have been longer to request a reassessment or reconsideration

In my case, my application was deferred as 10 competencies scored below the requirements and I need to take the FE exam. Apega told me that I can redo them (provide new examples) or make them better (add more details). I submitted and paid the request for update once I passed the FE exam.

You will need to make them better if you request an update for your PEng application. If you take the EIT (I did it), that means the academy review will not be done during the update. I resubmitted 10 competencies on Nov-23, case to the board June 24.

I saw a few posts where people said they got the response the month shown in the application. I would say it should be around May 10-14 for May. I hope June 7-11 in my case... but we can only wait
