Hello everyone, Not on the tracker yet (because not much to track). I submitted a paper application on May 20, delivered May 27. Since then, AOR on October 8, in progress a few days later, and nothing since. Any advice on how to proceed?

Do you have your UCI (Client ID / PR card number)? Use your info to look up the application status through the online service.

Same boat as you. If you don't hear anything until July 28th (six months from your last update), you can follow up with CIC. Nothing else to be done now - just wait.

Thanks. What about Working Income Tax Benefit? I wish there was a clearly defined list somewhere.

May I ask what is considered social assistance? Trillium Benefit? Ontario Drug Benefit? GST rebate? I've read a lot about how sponsored persons should not receive any social assistance but I've never figured out what is meant by social assistance. Thank you.

Call CIC, let them know. If your case has been transferred to an office, they’ll give you the mailing address of that office. Send them a cover letter and a copy of the new passport. If your case has not been transferred to an office, they’ll ask you to use the web form.
