When did you apply for work permit and did you receive an interim work authorization letter immediately after applying?

I also received this email today. My work permit application is now 5 months in progress. H&C is 9 months. No AIP yet. I received an email today from CBSA asking me to come for an interview with CBSA, saying I am eligible for PRRA.

Please how many months did your work permit application take? Mine will be 3 months tomorrow, I also applied without AIP

The IRCC agent said mine is on background check, I’m not sure what checks are under background check. They said eligibility and security are not started yet.
