Yes, I had received the same. I entered Canada today and got the work permit but the immigration office was slightly reluctant and he said I should have traveled on exact visa. But he issued me the work permit

I am traveling to Canada now. As in my application, ircc approved the work application and I already have TRV to travel

But this is the reply of TRV application. May be its a different steps for different countries. You need to complete this step. Raise webform on ircc website mentioning that VAC is closed.

Did CIC ask you to submit the passport? In my case, they didn't ask me to submit the passport. I applied from India And I consulted around 3 Canadian Immigration consultants and all of them say that we can travel with existing TRV ( Visitor category ) and letter of introduction/Approval letter.

So as per your attorney, we need to wait for visa restamping with worker category?

Hi, have you got any response from your attorney? I asked another consultant from Canada and as per her if IRCC didnt ask me for the passport submission then I can travel to Canada

I had applied on 2nd May and got approved on 22nd Sept. My biometric was done last year only

My passport have TRV stamp with category Visitor. It don't have TRV stamp with category worker.
