    Mine started before my file was transferred as well, I ordered notes and it showed a check was done with the USA partner.

    There is no exact time for anything in this process. My file took around 3 months before it was transferred to LVO.

    There a bug on their system, if you try tracking it online it'll show it correctly as Islamabad. Try to "Track your application here: http://www.vfsglobal.ca/Canada/Pakistan/after_submission.html

    Toronto to Karachi seems cheaper than Toronto to Lahore (cheapest ~$1200). I've made three trips so far using PIA and there was a major delay (~3 hours) only once. Beats having to take connecting and waiting for hours.

    Same here, wife got a call to pick up her passport. She submitted it on the 20th.

    Thanks, I see the same, tracking messages say Abu Dhabi but tracking on the VFS site says: "Your processed passport has been forwarded to the Canada Visa Office, ISLAMABAD"

    My wife submitted hers on the 20th and it's been sent to Abu Dhabi as well, no idea if this is normal. (Passport was submitted in Pakistan)
