Hi all, my spouse and kids applied on 15th March. Today, they got a letter asking for medical examination and form IMM 1017E. Is medical required for visitor visa as well. Is it normal. Can anyone answer please?

Hi, My wife and kids applied for their visa from India on 15th March. I am in Canada with closed work permit. I have sent multiple webforms as well, got generic reply for few of them. Just waiting now.

I think physical submission is no longer required. When I got my work permit last year, a courier guy would come to pick up your passport and then deliver back once stamped. I think your passport request letter should contain some instructions

Ok, I just checked that the approximate time is now increased to 160 days. It was 90 days when I applied back in March. What a mess they have made of the whole process.
