Posting this question on behalf of my friend. What happens when you have submitted your passport for Temperory visa andduring that time you get PPR? Do we have to wait till we get our passport back or will they stamp immigrant visa as well if we inform them?

No, you're not screwed. I'm currently on implied status my work permit was expired on October 19th and i had applied for BOWP extention on 11th. Your SIN number expires when your work permit expires but as long as you have applied for an extention you're fine. BOWP fees are $255.

Work permit is expiring next Thursday. Applied for extension. Felt so bad paying $255 application fee. So pissed of with CIC. Just past 17 months yesterday.

I asked this to CIC agent, she told me to upload the fee reciepts since i didn't get a copy of my medical exam.

The answer is yes. This question was so tricky when i filed my BOWP. It asks you whether you've got AOR or not.
