Oh I see. I don't remember what exactly happened in my case but we were able to go beyond the 7 days requirement without the portal expiring. I think it took us 14 days or something.

Hi, yeah so she ended up coming back but only after like 14 days and the portal did not expire so she was able to create her credentials once she got back.

Hey, did your credentials expire after 7 days? I'm in the same situation for my dependant because she had to fly home between p1 and p2 and despite telling IRCC, they still created her credentials so now I don't really know what to do. I wonder what happens if she doesn't "confirm" she's in...

Ugh... I had a meeting with an Immigration Consultant that told me it would only delay the process of my dependent's PR and mine would just keep moving forward. So confusing. But thank you!
