My letter did ask if I was in Canada or not but there's no mention of submitting passport for visa. I've been staying inside Canada the whole process since the day I submitted my application. Thanks

Also saw a ghost update just now. My AOR is Oct 4 - CEC Inland. VO Edmonton. Hope it's a good sign! Fingers crossed for all!

I called roughly a month ago and got a similar answer that eligibility and security had not started. Wonder if they would only start reviewing our files when they have gathered enough information for all. Just checked the weather in Edmonton. -4 degrees Celsius. I don't find extra excuses that...

Is it just me or there are some other people still waiting? My AOR is Oct 4 and it seems like the wait game never ends. Fingers crossed for all.

I submitted my application on Oct 4. And my primary VO is also Edmonton. I called IRCC in early Jan and was told that both eligibility and security had not started yet. My NOC is 2173.
