Hello guys, If someone lands at Canadian airport and trash his/her passport on the plane and proceeds to ask asylum, will he encounter any problems, do immigration checks with airlines later on or simply they don't care. Any honest advice will be appreciated. Thanks

Hello dear members! Does anyone know the average processing time of asylum applications in canada in 2024, I have been hearing in Atlantic canada and Calgary, the processing time is only 6 months. Is it true? Please share your experiences. Thanks
