Just an update :D Yesterday I received the fingerprint request and today my Language Skills and Physical Presence statuses changed to COMPLETED. That Ghost update did mean something ;)

Hi y'all I just got a Ghost Update. I'm an August '23 applicant, took the test in September, it changed to Completed in October. Nothing else since then, all the rest still "in progress". Any clues on what this Ghost update means? TIA!

Good idea. At least we won't feel left alone in the dark :confused: Do any of you have any idea what's going on? I called IRCC last week and the guy simply told me to wait, keep checking my application online, and that I should only call them back if my processing time was above the average...

Mine is exactly like yours, except that I applied on August 2nd. It seems that a batch of processes like ours are stuck at this same stage and nobody knows why :confused:

No update so far. That was a fake GU though, just a system glitch

Me too :( I applied on Aug 2nd. My husband applied on Aug 3rd and he took the Oath already. That's so frustrating.. Bonus: I called IRCC today and they told me I should only call them after my process passes the average waiting time of 17 months LOL

My husband took the Oath a couple of days ago and my friend took it earlier today. Both got the GU today.

A friend of mine who's attending the Oath today said he's got a GU today we well, even though his process has nothing to progress at this point. It's not a valid GU.

I've got a GU this morning as well. I don't mean to be pessimistic but given that everyone's got it, it seems to be just a system update or something. I took the test almost a month ago and had no updates since then. My husband applied 1 day after I did and he took the oath a couple of days...

Anyone has any clue why applications from early August and July arent moving forward? I applied on August 2, my husband applied 1 day after I did and he's having his oath ceremony tomorrow. Mine's stuck on "test completed" step. (No BG, PP, language, nor prohibitions - Montréal, Online...
