Some people go back to their home country via third countries. Such as, Belarussia could be used for Russia, and you can pass it by bus to Russia with your ID.

I wonder too. If any of you could answer me about Costa Rica, I would appreciate it a lot. I already e-mailed and called Cuba, Brasil and Mexico. Brasil was incredibly rude, and they didn't accept TD without a visa; Cuba and Costa Rica didn't answer me back.

Ali1luiza where did you go? I am very surprised to read that. You are already Canadian, what on earth are they questioning you about why you are visiting your family and loved ones? Maybe it's related to your asylum country of origin. What kind of questions did they ask you?

It seems Citizenship will take at least another 2-3 years as you know our waiting time for a hearing is counted as 0 days. I received my PR card recently so it wasn't possible to send it to them. It seems in 2 years I will be applying for another TD :(

I was PR but I didn't have my PR card yet. In any case, they should be able to see that I was PR back then. But I understand they were overwhelmed with all the applications.

Today I received my Travel Document. ( It's the second TD which is given for 2 more years) I applied for it 2 months before it expired which is in November 2021 and it took 8.5 months to get it. I thought it will be given for 5 years, is that normal? (under urgent application)
