Hey everyone, once you mail your COPR and photos to your local VO, is there anything you can do to track it? Or you just wait to receive your PR card in the mail whenever it comes? Any insight into the Vancouver office regarding PR card issuance would be greatly appreciated as well. Thank you!

Yes, they extended my medicals on Aug 31st, the same day they made the final decision on my file....so just over 6 months ago :( hopefully you hear back much quicker than that!

Apparently, it's because Ottawa is in COVID-19 red zone so offices are operating with very limited staff still. My application is also sitting there...

I just spoke to an agent over the phone to see if there is any new info....reply was same as always although she did say my file has now been closed ( after being approved on Aug 31st). Not sure how it can be closed when I haven't received COPR yet...she said to wait for a while longer to...

I think they send this out automatically near the 6 month time, 1 year time, 1.5 year time....etc It would make sense why a lot of us in Dec would receive this email now.

I'm not sure what is going on with CEC-Inland files at Ottawa....still here waiting for them to send COPR after file was approved in August. It would make for a great Christmas present though haha
