I have heard that ordering GCMS notes sometimes helps move the application along, although IRCC has never admitted to anything to this effect.

Do we have to raise 2 web forms in VFS portal if we have to submit 2 passports for PGP (father and mother) ? Also do we have prepare 2 packages for courier ?

Status updated to DM. Waiting for PPR now.

PPR is the next step. I got my pre-arrival letter on Jan 13 - still waiting for PPR. Some people get both on the same day and some wait for months - sigh-

Not all files are transferred to native country. Some are processed in Mississauga itself.

I have never heard of police verification getting cleared without physical presence of the person in question.

I did, apparently they asked for it again in a letter. So I provided it again. Hopefully they read it now. I feel like that letter is a fix template they are sending out to everyone - irrespective of the documents submitted earlier. Just a bunch of bumbling interns running the show I think.

Its been two weeks since I submitted all the documents asked by IRCC (Aadhar, Voter IDs, PCCs, Birth and Marriage certificates) - but did not hear anything back from IRCC. Are you folks also experiencing similar delays.

Hi Niki, I have some questions for PCC. Did you receive a letter from CIC asking for PCC ? All I have received so far are Biometric Letter, medical request (IME) and Sponsor approval letter. Is it ok to go for PCC or should I wait for an explicit request for PCC ? Did you apply from India ?
