    October 2024 - Citizenship Applications

That could very well be true, who knows? If that's the case, the May must be the final month for us.

    November 2024 - Citizenship Applications

So my wife's application has everything but the Oath completed. AOR is mid-November. We have plans to travel to Asia (family and stuff), and given the situation we can't decide whether we should wait for the Oath to be scheduled or not. What do you think? It's very unusual to me as my...

    November 2024 - Citizenship Applications

My wife's application is complete except for the Oath ceremony. It has been more than 3 weeks since the last update. The AOR (Acknowledgment of Receipt) is from mid-November, and the office is in Vancouver. From what I see in the community, we aren't the only ones experiencing this. What's...

As expected, I just got my COPR email with the 30-day timeline to submit passport and the relevant docs. Can’t explain how long and tedious the last two years have been. Cheers folks!

I got the CBSA report back, which I requested in January. Good news, Mandamus worked after all, and now my file is marked as approved with criminality, eligibility, and medicals passed. Now I expect to get an RVF as it’s been almost two months since they approved the file. Overall, my...

    FSW Inland PR applicants

A short update from me: I’m an FSW Inland at VO Ottawa who moved out of Canada in May 2021. I filed for Mandamus two months ago with no results to this day. Since IRCC responded by requesting my current address ~3 weeks ago, Mandamus is no longer helpful, or so I’m told. It’s been 24.5 months...

We got our TRVs and now thinking of going back to Canada, where we’ll wait for our Portal access. Would it be a problem to state that to the border officials?

No updates for me yet. Expecting to get them around mid-March. Positive expectations as Canada is officially easing border restrictions now.
