I gather from another conversation Medicals are valid for a year, and maybe required if application is delayed beyond that time period. Redoing a medical without IRCC request is not a problem.

Nothing to worry, delay is your BGC starts only when Biometrics is done. So in another 3 months you should have COPR.

For BOWP you need AOR letter. So anytime after AOR and before any Permit expires. See CIC website pls.

I see some in AUG AOR getting PPRs. So in a month or so, with faster processing Sep and Oct AORs should have PPR in two months if application is straight forward!

That is unfortunate. BOWP when applied from 4 months to 1 day before expiry of WP grants an automatic extension by default on online application. Thought the BOWP application gives you implied status extension while the EE application is in progress. It says clearly on website that PR...
