Is it still necessary to declare source of income if my POF if my FDR is 1.5 yr old?

Hi, P... I've recently got ITA and now preparing my file. Regarding POF, I've a FDR worth about 100,000 cad which is about 1.5 yr old.Do I need to show any document of my source of income. The fund is given by my parents as a gift by the way. Pls help.
