I’m not the OP, but the question the application is asking is whether the applicant, separated or not, has been married or in a common law relationship BEFORE the current (separated) relationship. So the way the OP suggested answering would not be correct.

They do not ask about previous profiles, they ask about previous applications. Those are two different things.
