As far as I know, I don't think someone who is on a Super Visa is authorized to work in Canada. To work in Canada one will need a Work Permit. One can apply for a work permit from within Canada. I will let the experts in the forum comment and advise too.

How is the walk-in wait times at the Brampton BLS and Toronto BLS nowadays? If anyone did a recent walk-in at one of these locations? Does one still have to line-up way early in the morning (like 3 AMish)?

For me it took 11 days. I went with the regular service (non-urgent).

My status changed today to "Surrender certificate is under review at Indian Embassy/Consulate " (there are 3 applicants, 2 Adults and 1 Kid).

I sent my application via Purolator on October 31st, 2023 and it was received by BLS on November 1st, 2023.
