In most of the cases, it's the next day. Once you email them your details, they send you login credentials within one day.

That's really quick. Do you mean PR card was mailed on sept 26th or you received it on sept26? I assume it's the former.

I have seen wait times of around 1 month although the website shows around 2 months of processing time.

No. Once the visa is approved, they give a letter saying that the biometrics is valid till so and so date. It is mentioned on that letter.

It's mentioned in the biometrics validity letter.

Visa office was Ottawa. Biometrics done at Ahmedabad VFS.

Applied from India. First time Canada visa but my parents have a US visitor visa. Not sure if having a US visa makes any difference.
