Folks have bee waiting for months without even hearing a decision from the Board member including me. It's going to take time, be patient and wait. It'll be in your mail sooner than you think.

Hey after you submitted your application, make sure to send them a web form again with the tracking number and all that. Also explain your situation briefly. if you've already done so, it wouldn't hurt to go over it again. Thats how they know you need your travel document ASAP.

Send the webform first, wait until they contact you with basic information, like how and where to mail your application. Then mail your complete application to Ottawa,(Make sure you write Urgent on the envelope so they can start your application right away), after you mailed your application...
