I called CIC a while back. An agent informed that my file has been transferred to Vancouver VO. Does anyone know how's the processing speed there compared to Montreal?

My application just moved to IP2. AOR - 17th OCT VO as of 26th Jan 2019 was Montreal. Next set of notes should come around 6th April. I'll be anxious to see if my file is still in Montreal or it's been moved.

@Pringles226 What do your most recent GCMS notes say? I believe you received a ghost update yesterday. Did you get an email about that earlier today?

Try calling them to find out if some information is needed from your end. Also, email them and/or raise a CSE asking about the same. Hope things get sorted out soon. ATB

Hey, my status is pretty similar to yours. AOR 17th OCT 2018. Everything same except RR for Client Information. I think, unless for some reason our applications get transferred out of Montreal, we're looking at May-July window.

Hopefully it's not that. One point in his favor is that he's an Outland candidate. It's common for inland candidates to see background in progress sooner than Outlanders. Also, I believe most outlanders whose applications get processed in Montreal don't ever see that status. I'm guessing maybe...

That's true. Just that the wait is excruciating. Though, I agree that it's much better to wait for a merit based system to work than to play the mega lotto in a luck based immigration system for "Merit based" H1B visa category. Life on F1 :oops:

True that! Almost all the applicants that I found on immitracker for Montreal are residing in US. My wife had a US Visa rejection. By any chance, does having a visa reject in your application also adds to chances of going to Montreal?
