Yes there is an likely chance. Calculate 3 months from the day your biometrics were updated (not the day submitted, if they’re not the same) and they should get back to you before then. 3 months from that date is Feb 10th so be patient till then and you’ll hopefully get a response from them...

I applied on 25th September 2021, did my biometrics on the 7th of Oct and haven’t heard from them since. Don’t worry, there is loads of delays, I know your frustration but let’s all be patient. How are you ordering your GCMS notes?

I think that means that your file is still waiting in line to reviewed by an officer and they will contact you once they’ve done so. Have you done an upfront medical? And where are you applying from? Also, why did they send you that email? Did you submit a webform?

What do you mean? Timelines for foreigners applying from inside Canada? Is that what you mean?

Yeah I check that page regularly but I don’t think it’s too reliable. Of course I hope that my application gets finalized this week, or I at least get my medical but I don’t think that page is what we should follow.
