I too had the same message, i guess that's standard. Usually Approved to Issued takes a day so no need to freak out until tomorrow EOD. Chill :cool:

It was moved from approved to Issued same day. Today morning it was approved and then around 3 P.M when I checked status was updated to Issued. I did opt for premium delivery - not sure if that makes a difference here.

Mine got updated to Approved & then Issued today. Hope you got an update too.

The person I talked to mentioned that it's the same process for all consulates. For interview waiver it's a 5 week wait time(YMMV) for review and then 6 weeks(YMMV) for sending the docs and stamping. Check with your attorney if you can submit it now from U.S and then travel to Canada only after...

We have submitted in Toronto and looks like there is a new virtual queue and wait times are approx 5 weeks. Please keep that in mind. Due to the delay we are also checking with our attorney on AVR.

I got a status of "Pending Consular Authorization" for my interview waiver. Is this new? The status says it could take up to 5 weeks. Since I'm already in Canada I only have 6 weeks. Is it even possible to look for interview appointments or at another consulate if this is only for Toronto?
