June 2024 - Inland Spousal Sponsorship

I see. Thank you for the clarification! Just checked my old GCMS notes and they also have a primary and secondary office listed, but different from the current ones (likely because I worked in another province at the time).

Nope, I did not apply for anything else (except SOWP that I received last year). The sponsor is a Canadian citizen. I do have an Express Entry profile, but never received an ITA. And yes, I assume RROC is the Rapid Response Operations Centre in Ottawa. The notes only say: Primary Office: CPC...

June 2024 - Inland Spousal Sponsorship

Still waiting.. Just got my GCMS notes and found something weird. My place of birth was randomly deleted from my file in November last year and my country of birth was replaced with a seemingly random country. Did anyone else ever experienced this kind of issue? I just submitted a webform and...

Same here, got exactly 24 months and sponsor is a citizen. We also both got a ghost update on the application tracker on March 7.

That is the same information I got at the time. As long as you applied for the SOWP with valid status and you got your AOR, you maintain your status and are allowed to keep working according to the conditions of you previous work permit until a decision is made.

I see, that explains everything. Is it still "in progress" on your GCKey account? Regardless, I would definitely follow up with them.

Your timeline is interesting. How did you apply for SOWP on the same day as PR? In order to be able to apply for SOWP you either need your AOR, or your status document has to be within 14 days of expiry. I was within 14 days of expiry when I applied for it and got my SOWP about 1 month later.

mine is valid for 24 months on the day, but I think the dates coincidentally lined up. I did my medical prior to submitting my PR application, and it seems like the 12 months you are talking about started at the date my medical was marked as complete.

Yes, it looked like they did, but I also did not want to gamble and just submitted them again. And thanks, I hope the process is done soon.

June 2024 - Inland Spousal Sponsorship

Yes, indeed. I was a little confused by the 2nd request first, but contacted IRCC and was told that biometrics for SOWP (temporary stay) cant be used for the PR application (permanent): "You will not be required to provide your biometric...
