I read that and my main concern is it seems we’re going to need to wait until either the PCC and AOR are here, or until it’s less than 2 weeks for her status to expire to reapply with a LoE, but no matter what if the pgwp expires while the sowp is processing she will need to stop working.

You need to look into whether your work experience while on your study permit is eligible for points. AFAIK, any work experience gained while on a study permit does not count towards CEC except for Foreign Work Experience, but I could be wrong so I will say look into it further. Lots of people...

Are you still Inland or have you moved outland? On the bright side even if your PR takes time to arrive, you would be able to extend your work permit indefinitely to continue staying and working in Canada legally with the new work permit extension rules they've put into place.

How did you end up on a visit visa if you don't mind me asking? Was it expired PGWP/BOWP so you decided to stay Inland with visit visa? I applied CEC Inland, my PGWP expired and I had the option for visit visa, restoration or just go on vacation until PR. Picked #3 :eek:

Same boat here! My CoR is still Canada, I'm in Dubai on a visit visa, the only bank accounts/etc I have are all in Canada. CEC Inland applicant, now physically outland o_O
