It is slower but not the slowest. My file was transferred to NDVO on 15 July and got DM on PA today 27 Feb so a little over 7 months. Way within the 2 year time given by CIC

You can try to appeal under humanitarian and compassionate reasons if your Dad's medical fails. You still will get RRPF back even if they don't approve your application. There are chances to get approved even with health condition considering old age and lack of family members backhome. I know...

I received medical furtherance letter on July 25 2019. Finally medical passed on Nov 21 2019. After some additional tests performed

Yes my status on ecas also changed to application received and i got SA approval today saying it was transferred to Delhi.

Biometrics request came last Monday and DM started showing on Tuesday on ECAS. So i i gue they were both made the same day. But ECAS updated later and biometrics request came earlier.

Mine is also received on 6th May. SA is decision made, no SA EMAIL LETTER received. Biometrics request received I called CIC and they confirmed that sponsorship is approved but the correspondence isnt sent yet and will be sent in sequence.
