I received my citizenship certificate today, 17 days after the oath ceremony. Oath office was MB and I'm in Cambridge, ON. More details in the signature below.

Guess what I found in the mailbox this afternoon.. envelope from IRCC! Finally!! Glad this process is finally over. Now on to the next adventure! I hope you get yours today as well.

That is exactly 1 week AFTER the application status was marked as Closed. Not sure why status was updated if it wasn't mailed, unless they printed the certificate on that day and then just sat on it for a week before mailing. I think a week is a reasonable amount of time for it to reach here so...

Me too. But I don't think distance is the reason here.. I mean packages from BC have reached within a week using regular post so they are taking their own sweet time in mailing them.

My oath ceremony was on Aug 9. Citizenship status marked as Closed on Aug 11. Let's see how long it takes to get the certificate. Should be here in a week hopefully since I'm in Cambridge but was invited to oath ceremony in Winnipeg.

Tracker updated today, scheduled to take Oath on Aug 9. I think email will probably come next week. My Language, Physical and Prohibitions were marked as complete on July 14 so this update comes 12 days after that. Niagara falls office.

Has your status been updated on BLS? It's probably already with Purolator. You should be able to track it on Purolator using the CAN.. as reference. Wife's OCI application had been showing ready for dispatch since the weekend, I just tried to search on Purolator and it was picked up on Monday...

Seems like they updated a bulk of Aug applicants in one go... All 3 marked as completed on July 14.

Things are so confusing with BLS! Why did you need to submit originals (that were sent back) when your application was walk-in? I think a few people here have mentioned that BLS doesn't keep any originals for walk-in OCI applications.
