I applied in March and haven't received anything till now.

AOR is just a notification for you to link your application. Since you already did this, you don't need an AOR (I think). As per the medical, this happens when your medical expires (which is the case for almost everyone since we did this more than a year ago). Don't worry about it!

Thanks for your reply. To be honest, I am so desperate to get this done. All of us have been waiting for more than 1 year (my application is there since Feb with no update). I was thinking about any method that can get things moving. I know there isn't :confused:, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Does anybody know of contacting the local MP really does something? Would it help in speeding up the processing of the application?

We are all in the same boat. I am sorry to tell you that we cannot do anything to speed up the processing of our applications. The only thing that we can do is to WAIT, which is not easy.

The same thing happened with my account. I hope that will be a good sign.

Can you get a GU without an email? In other words, can the status be changed to profile updated without receiving an email?

Congrats!! I think that people with dependents take more time in the process.

Does anybody know what would happen if I receive the PR portal email while my dependents are outside Canada? I haven't received anything yet, but I am asking to plan ahead. Just being a bit optimistic :D

It is a good sign that they requested the IMM5669 form. I know many people (including myself) who got AOR in Feb and no updates till now. So don't worry, we are in the same boat.

I think that section refers to your local MP info. You can ask them for details if they reply quickly to your email/call.

No update so far. AOR on Feb 17 and my file is in Whitehorse.

I just got some feedback through an IRCC agent. Does info sharing: passed mean anything good (i.e., security is about to be passed?)? or it's just as simple/easy as criminality and medical.
