You are correct. There was no message just a status change to Profile updated and then upon logging in again same status was showing as submitted. Its a day later when I saw the change and two days later we received an email that the profile has been updated. You're almost there.

Finally got a ghost update on Friday. Today mom's permanent resident card was approved and was mailed out. They say up to six weeks before we get it. She was an inland applicant and the photos were sent to the Etobicoke office. Documents reached that office on July 28. So almost three months...

That was very quick. We are waiting since July 28. Our office is Etobicoke Office) But this is what it is. We got in and we got PR for our loved ones. And by the way your journey just begins here! Good luck you to!

We live in Alberta. My mom returned back from the States. I inquired with our provincial government a few days before her arrival and was told that household members of international travelers are not required to self isolate but monitor for symptoms. Now, I am not sure what the rule is is...

Your parents can come under the exemption as your immediate family members. My mom returned from the States and had no problem. As long as they have a detailed self-isolation plan and show no symptoms they will be fine.

Sent them a copy of the page in her passport with the stamp of arrival
