I see today Decision Made in ECAS. Yay! The last quest is to get a visa. In the IRCC - Permanent Residence Portal (PR Confirmation) email they asked if my parents are in Canada now and we replied No. I hope that will active their protocol for getting visa instead of virtual landing plan.

So, this IRCC - Permanent Residence Portal (PR Confirmation) email comes separately from the decision made? Is it still not considered as decision made? They are talking about PR cards and informed us that "Your application for permanent residence has been approved."

@laxsun , @serious_cheese Please update line 564 - received a request for biometrics from London LVO on Dec 17th. If only it was easy with the London office... They sent us a request to do biometrics within 30 days with the letter date as of November 12, thus the deadline is December 13 but...

Request came in my CIC account as a new message "We need something from you to continue processing your application". I don't remember if and when my parents did biometrics but they came to Canada a few times so I assume they did it at some point. Waiting continues...

Wow! I was under impression that a pre-arrival letter is almost a finish line and no other docs are needed... I wonder if this is a common practice for London office as we are going through London as well.

Did London send a request for these additional docs AFTER the pre-arrival letter??
