Yes, PR portal is completely different story. I never dealt with it. As I see, usually PR portal works much faster for PR cards than sending physical photo like in my case. I would advise you to call IRCC and try to check with them what is happening. There is no guarantee there will be any help...

I have the same timeline and my current status is Approved. Try reaching out to them and checking if they opened your envelope. You can consider trying email: CIC-Etobicoke-Landings@cic.gc.ca

Try to call them to make sure somebody opened your envelope. I know some people in this thread were emailing Etobicoke office and receiving feedback (CIC-Etobicoke-Landings@cic.gc.ca ). My first GU was on Aug 16, but my photos were delivered earlier than yours.

Looks like you can receive your card soon. Did you link your PR card application? Have you seen a first GU recently?

Hi, you may need to wait a bit more. They are currently working on end-of-March and beginning-of-April photos. My photo was delivered on March 25th and I just got update yesterday, that my PR card was emailed to me.

Thank you! Yes, I have got email notification that status of my application has been changed. To be precise this was not GU. GU usually shows "Application/Profile updated" and then goes back to "Submitted". In my case it went to "Approved" which is much better than just GU.
