Wow, 3 months for you, 30 days for me. No logic and pattern in their actions. It looks like someone decided to do their job (as per their own guidance to extend Med-Checks).

Hi, from what I know, IRCC checking you and your paperwork - prior AOR date. It's highly unlikely your travel to your home country or just vacation to somewhere else will make an effect on your application processing time. All the best!
