It takes anywhere between 1-3 weeks. Can you please share your timeline and background verification process ?

If your background check is not complete yet. Then most likely your application is stuck with CSIS for security clearance. I have a similar situation. FP submitted 18 March 2022 FP received 11 April 2022 Criminality passed 11 April 2022 ( RCMP ) Security clearance in progress

Fingerprints submitted 18th March 2022 Fingerprints received. 11th April 2022 Background verification in progress Security clearance in progress with CSIS Once CSIS is done. Application will be mailed to CBSA for final notes and then it's IRCC all over again.

When was background verification completed, How long did it take after submitting fingerprints ?

Those three things kinda sit there and stare back at you. You'll eventually see them as completed a few days/weeks prior to DM.

Fingerprints are required for background verification only. Everything else will change to completed few days/weeks before DM.

Best case scenario 25 - 90 days
