Not sure about this one, sending passports from the same file to different visa offices seems risky. Inland applicants usually get eCOPR via the portal, but in your case, PA is outland and the dependent spouse is inland which complicates things. I guess you could ask IRCC when the time comes...

If I was you, I'd start the procedure for mandamus - that will at least force IRCC to check your application and hopefully, finally issue the PPR.

So when you ordered the CBSA notes, what was pending? Eligibility, security, criminality all done?

I hope so, our file has been stuck in security screening for over 1.5 years. Our second medical will expire in 7 days, and I'm really hoping that this ghost update isn't just another medical request.

I got an email that says "Your application status has changes." I logged in to gc key, the status said "Application/profile updated", clicked on it and there was nothing new. Now status has gone back to "Submitted".

Anyone else get a ghost update today?

You will most likely get it within 2 weeks, but if you are worried you can always just request a 30-day extension and submit after their trip.

Did you get a response? I'm in the same boat, CBSA sent the file to CSIS back in May 2023, received their recommendation in August 2023, and for the past 16 months since then has not updated the file. Don't know what to do.

That's odd. How old is your brother? Is he married?

I don't think Quebec quota affects us, because the quota is for CSQs - which any of us who applied in 2021 already got. My gcms notes shows that everything in the application is complete except for security, which has been pending since summer 2023.
