MP is member of Parliament. I live in Brampton so according to my postal code MP is Maninder Sidhu and I went to their office to fill out the form regarding the delay in the processing of spouse's application, after that I call them after every two weeks. We cannot go to IRCCs office in New Delhi.

No update. Following up with the MP and no progress on the file. Now it is more than 1 year. The response I received from MP is that they are short staffed in New Delhi office. I don't understand this. If they are short staffed that is not my problem, send the file to nearest office like Abu...

I have reached out to the MP and they said the file is going through background checks and they told me to call them after new year like WTH? Does it take more than 10 months to do the background checks and how about the other applications which are getting approved in 3/4 months?

My timeline is almost same as yours, I applied on Jan 26, 2024. I have been getting the ghost update almost every single day, but the tracker doesn't show anything.

It is very slow and now we have this Canada and India dispute going on which is making it worse.

I haven't received the pre arrival yet. My application got moved to New Delhi on Feb 26. GCMS did not mention the reason but the consultants says that the file is processed in the Country of residence that is why it got moved to NDVO.

Mine also shows same thing, there is nothing we can do about it. I ordered the GCMS notes as well and there is no new information in that either. My file was transferred to New Delhi after my spouse's eligibility was passed, before it was Sydney NS.

Hi, Mine is also New Delhi, again shows updated: Oct 3 but in actual doesn’t show any update on the application.

Mine was stuck since June 11, shows updated Sep 27.
