Partner’s application submitted in person at BLS Toronto on Sept 8. The OCI portal finally got updated today (Sept 20) with a date of acknowledgment and status as “Under Process”. Just praying we get the approved OCI document asap and the ongoing situation doesn’t affect it.

Not entirely correct. I submitted a letter I wrote with my employment details and it was accepted.
