6 months is way too long . Did your work permit application get moved to Etobicoke? If it did then you must not waste time in applying for your permanent resident if you have been living together for a year.
OK I see . Your file was not moved there .It is just a secondary office incase there is a huge back log . Family class files don't usually get sent there it's just a back up office . Every ones gcms notes should have a secondary office one it.
