I don't think writ of mandamus will work when an application is stuck in security screening. I know someone with the same status submitted writ of mandamus, didn't work.

I don't think there is anything else you can do to speed up the process. My file is in security screening since June 28, 2023. Hope yours won't take that long.

I am not sure if I had comprehensive security screening for my PR. I was asked to submit finger prints, but the whole process took about 19 months (14 months after they started they started the process. So, I believe I had a comprehensive security screening for my PR.

I don't know if it is by CBSA or just CSIS. I tried to find out, but the only thing I can see on the ATIP notes from IRCC is "CSIS is in progress and pending results".

I am also inland. My security screening is in process since June 28, 2023. AOR is also June 2023.

Security screening in GCMS notes shows "CIT CSIS screening" pending results. So, I am not sure if this has anything to do with CBSA or it is only with CSIS.

Congratulation! My AOR is in June 2023. As per IRCC my security screening started July 2023. My file is still in security screening.
