Sorry to hear about the delay -- which is all I think it is. I sent the passports early December and they were received four days later (unlike the "next business day" service CP promises). One thing you can do is ask for a full refund from Canada Post -- I have done this a few times in the past.

This evening we received the passports. In total, it took us three weeks from the point CPC-O received the package.

Alright, folks. My parents' GCKey application page was updated last night showing the application has been approved, and detailing the counterfoil numbers and COPR expiry dates. The Canada Post XPress post tracking has not yet been activated. Good luck to all!

I still haven't seen any updates on ECAS or by email for the COPR processing -- has anybody received their passports back from CPC-O (with the COPRs, obviously)?

For whatever reason, CPC-M is, on average, very slow at issuing passport requests. In my case, I got it five days after DM, but I know of friends who are waiting for weeks... An email to them wouldn't hurt.

The decision has been made for the fact that you are eligible to sponsor your mother. However, her PR application is in process and will require a separate decision.

I think you need not worry - the letter covers all necessary scenarios - passports requiring visas to enter Canada vs. passports that don't; sponsored parties that are currently in Canada vs. those that have returned to their country, etc. When you get the passport request letter, read it...

One year from the date you did your medical exam -- it will state it on the COPR form.
