No they didn't call any of my references/guarantor. If you have travel plans for next month I would call again by Friday and ask for an update. You can also let them know you'll be travelling soon and they may speed up your application!

Passport is on the way! It was printed on Friday and mailed out yesterday. Should be here tomorrow.

It was my certificate...Back to waiting!

I received a delivery notice from CP today (even tho I was home…lol), it says the letter is from Ottawa. I’m thinking it’s probably my citizenship certificate. Or with a bit of luck it’s the actual passport! I’ll let you all know tomorrow

Based on other people's timelines yeah it means they are working on it. From what I can see they usually mail the passport within a week or so after the charge, but based on the new timeline the agent provided me (6-8 weeks total), it could take longer.

Update! My cc was charged today :) So almost 3 weeks since they received my application.

It was delivered on Oct 28th, I sent it to the Varennes office in Gatineau. It's definitely taking longer than I expected lol
