We have tried everything: calling them (doesn’t get through), web forms, emails, GCMS notes Infact we’re clueless about the future steps as well! Now that a new variant has emerged. They’re going to search for more excuses to delay the process.

Not necessarily, it depends on the date medicals were done (not the date which is mentioned in the application- cleared medicals). I received the COPR on 28th Feb,2020 and it expired on 23rd April,2020. I got upfront medicals On 23rd April,2019. They gave exact one year.
