That’s not correct. I am not sure if you have ever generate a webform and call customer service to get an update before processing time. They will let you know right away that processing time is you need to count working days, which make sense too cause there is no processing when office is closed.

Passport request means you will receive a request to submit your passport for stamping visa. That’s what exactly I meant. July 17 means processing time around 41 working days. Canada do not work on Saturday Sunday and Stat holiday so those days there is no processing and should not be counted...

I believe there are so many of us including me here waiting from Vancouver office. I submitted my application in Nov 2021. Medical expired but no re-medical requested, no other documents requested, just silence since June 2023 -D

Some of you guys are very lucky that IRCC Vancouver is telling you some updates regarding your applications. Because whenever I sent them email they always respond but no information other then your application is assigned to an officer and we will contact you if we need anything. regards D.
