No, don’t send originals. Send only self attested copies. Also talk to the call centre and get a payment link for 2 couriers only. If you use online, you’ll end up paying for 3

You need to eat mentos before doing anything with BLS don’t trust what is written, and from call centre everytime you get a different response. So all the best. May God bless digital India

What is date of ack on oci website? They are right now processing about 15 nov ack oci if you look in the forum at Toronto

Courier fees has to be paid online. Give them a call and ask for link. If you directly pay online, they charge for 3 Couriers whereas in actual now you only have 2. One for drop off, other for oci booklet drop off. No need to pay for original drop off

Looking at trends you should be good to get OCI by Jan end. Look out for Ack from consulate on website. Just hoping things don’t slow down during holidays

The OCI application being processed right now are from the no eVisa time. so it will be Jan when you will see the impact of eVisa opening up. Right now it is that heavy load that was created during the crisis time.

Looks tight. They are still on to ack. After Ack at OCI site it’s taking roughly 22 calendar days. + any holidays. keep open mind for eVisa. Since you have original with you. I am stuck with my original passport at CGI since I did postal application.
