Received SIN today, app number 35000 applied May 5, province MB

We have the same situation. Our numbers are 5000 and it seems that they had technical issue and they lost our applications.

I called them yesterday and got an answer that if you had used a document in the first primary document, you could not use the same document as a secondary one. We have to add ANOTHER GOVERNMENT issued document, for example - a driver's license. Be careful.

I wonder why they process 10000 while people with 5500 ate still waiting since April 7. Called them on Friday, and they answered that I should wait.

I was writing about the online application. For mail it is different. I didn' see any address requirements.

I don't remember where, but it was clearly written that you have to give proof of address in Canada. I sent my rental agreement.
