FP done on Feb 21 Sent from rcmp to ircc Feb 27 Received by ircc March 10 BG updated to complete March 11

Did my FP on Feb 21st, called RCMP today and they said it mailed from RCMP to IRCC on Feb 27th, still no update.

Took the test on Feb 21st. Updated on tracker on Feb 27th.

Wrong! Just see the google sheet for December, out of 25 applicants, 9 got BG with no fonger print and 8 applicants have been asked for FP. Seems like they are going to ask more and more applicants for FP nowadays.

Similarity is names with other people in the data base, thats the main reason , so if you have a common name/family name likely you're going for biometrics.

No need to apply for a new one if you are not going to travel anytime soon.
