Hi all, I'm an outlander and wanted to apply for SIN from my home country. Now since I haven't landed in Canada, my COPR is not signed by me yet. Is it still a valid document to apply for SIN? Please let me know, thanks!
SVO was not told to me by the service agent. On calling them, they always only mentioned one VO.. so I assume that's primary. In such a case, SVO is the local office, which for me was New Delhi.
AOR 2 May
All stages completed on 23 June
They straightaway delete direct emails to their inboxes, best is to send a webform to a particular SVO, which is possible when you choose that your VO is outside Canada - that's what I did. And I got the PPR within 24 hours of doing that.
I think sending webform to local office could have had something to do with it, matches the time zone as well. More RFVs is a good sign for RROC folks as well, I feel. Especially since it seems like they have sorted out the occupation based draws.

Did you get any update on your gckey?
The letter came in Gckey, so got an email saying "we have sent you a message". The eligibility/background check only change to complete in gckey once the passport is stamped, from what I've heard. Until...
Finally got the PPR almost 2 weeks after everything got completed in the tracker. Hope everyone else who's waiting gets their applications processed quickly. Cheers!
Got PPR/RFV today, not sure which one it is, but says that they need my passport and pictures to complete the application. Hope everyone else whose file is at CPC-O or RROC starts getting the emails too. Cheers!
When submitting a webform, say the application is being processed outside Canada.. it's the second question. Then choose your nearest office. It seems convenient that way, as it's a valid assumption.
This is a good idea any way. I got inspired by this and sent a web form to an office outside Canada. Let's see whom they forward it to, since the call support agent was still saying it's with CPC Ottawa in my case. I don't find that believable, though, as I just saw someone with FSW-O with AOR...
By the way this doesn't mean anything, confirmed it from somewhere. This happens everytime they refresh my information from their system onto my tracker, which may happen after a major upgrade to the system/portal/tracker tool.
