Is there an age limit to applying for visa to Canada via spousal sponsor?

i was convicted in 2004 in uk my statutory ban was up May 2005, how long do i have to wait to reapply for rehabilitation then visa if rehab granted.

i have a DUI from uk in 2004 I got the statutory 1 year ban and fine. This takes my conviction time to May 05. I have read on many sites that i have to wait 5 or 10 years to re apply but it is not clear which. I have been with my fiance (canadian) 2 1/2 years and we have cancelled our wedding...
