@Gridlock@21 if you paid for courier , then this will be couriered, else you need to pick it up, call BLS customer care, they will give you the information

@Lakhvir singh sidhu - i have flights this week and took my tickets as a proof of travel, they agreed and gave my the passport without any issues, but one does need to have a reason for picking this up personally

@Gridlock@21 - based on experience, once the passport has reached Canada , it will stay at the consulate for approx a week - once dispatched from consulate to BLS ( it generally gets delivered the next day and then if couriered to you - a few day till it gets delivered.

@meDeshpande - no update, my application is with the same status since 30th Nov. Emailed - no response, called - no response, tweeted - no response. Lets see what happens tomorrow...

So based on my experience, PV is done in 2 stages - first is when the local police station does the verification and sends the report to the regional passport office, the verification then moves to the next step where the police authorities at the your city in india will finally upload the clear...

My application is with CGI Toronto - email address is passport.toronto@mea.gov.in .. from what i know, the appn is sent to BLS using a third party outsourced service provider. What about yours.. where is your application?

your application will not move until clear police report has been submitted by the police.

Same concern and status since Saturday 30th Nov, i called BLS too and they mentioned, nothing can be done at their end as they have not received the passport. Emailed embassy today, hopefully this gets dispatched to BLS today. Fingers crossed

Police verification clear report needs to be uploaded by your police station, only after which the passport will be printed, co-ordinate with your police station or the regional passport office
